The 8-year old
This type of owner is usually running his first server, and paid $40 for a guy to setup a server for him with his parents' money.
He doesn't understand donations, Bukkit, SQL, or anything; all this owner wants to do is promote anyone who says they're going to donate to OP. Any of you who have gone server surfing have seen this type of owner before.
You know, with the PMC banner made from "freegif.com" or something? And with the server-MOTD being the PMC code that you need to put your server up that they still haven't changed? These guys will put a lot of effort into trying to act mature to attract players, but everyone knows they're not old enough to run a server like this.


The Charity Guy
This type of owner, when the player count hits 4 people, usually does a "drop party" and drops rare and even unaccessible items in minecraft, pretty much begging for atleast one person to stay on. These guys will give you anything you want as long as you ask them nicely, and they usually have 40+ plugins on the server including "TimTheEnchanter."

The Horder
The Horder has 100+ plugins on his server, and has no idea why it lags so often. They usually have a spawn that they made purely from WorldEdit brushes, and 10-50 moderators who abuse all the time, and 1 admin who is their friend in real life.


The Griefer
This guy stoops down low, and griefs peoples' houses on his server for sh*ts 'n giggles. The Griefer most likely has a spawn that is a bedrock circle, with 1x200 block pillars going into the sky of dirt, sand, and cobblestone, maybe an occasional hacker. And you know what The Griefer does instead of fixing this? He just griefs peoples houses.

The "I Have No Idea What I'm Doing" Owner
Owners like this usually, as said in the title, have no idea what they're doing. They similarly to the 8 year old have no understanding of Bukkit and have no anti-cheat plugin, with 10+ hackers on the server all the time. And when he tries to accuse someone of hacking, he chooses an innocent.

The AFK Owner
This type of owner is always AFK, and even if you're getting hacked/griefed he won't speak. He gets on the server, and instantly goes AFK. Once the AFK Owner goes back from AFK, he only talks to his staff members, and completely ignores you until you're using CAPS in chat. After spamming "OWNER!!!!!!!" 1000 times to get his attention, he bans you for spam.

The MIA Owner
This owner is never on the server. Ever. He's just not on.

The "Going Pro" Owner
This owner always mentions that in 1-2 weeks his server is going to be the #1 server, and after his server doesn't get any donations, he closes it instantly.

The Stupid Owner
This owner is always relying on other players on help with commands, and sometimes falls for the Alt + F4 trick. Their server ends usually when someone tricks them into saying a command that ops themselves.

The Accusing Owner
The accusing owner will accuse anyone and anything of hacking or cheating, and over-actively bans anyone who even brings the tiniest bit of suspicion. Then they wonder why the have no players on the server.

The DIY Owner
This server isn't hosted on a remote host; but hosted on the owner's computer. After 20 years of logging in, you have 400 ping. Oh, and after 5 seconds of being online, you're kicked for "Internal exception" or something.
