The question is to advertise or not. Actually I am now considering letting people advertise on my server as long as they don't abuse the prevlidge. Let me know if you thing it is a good idea or not. The answer is probably not since If you do they will come and probably leave so its not worth it. Build a good server and they will come and stay! I have looked into advertising and decided that it is not worth it. The simplest way to make your server popular is to make it good. If you add the good plugins and keep your server running good by banning the spammers and hackers then people will want to play on your server. It's that simple.I created my own server and didn't advertise. Player's showed up and started playing.
