Why? Thereo s a reason. We want credit for what we do. Imagine, someone taking you badass creation and passing it off as his own just by mashing and adding a little random stuff into it. That sucks right? But Io m sure you know about this by now. Io m sure you know how it would feel. Thato s why I am taking a different approach to the word o Originalityo in this competitive Minecraft world.





Originality is basically something YOU create. Something new. The best way to get famous in this Minecraft world is Originality. When YOU create something, its new. Because you made it, no one else. If you want to be famous anywhere in the Minecraft world, or popular, then you have to be original. Creating something unique, something no one has seen before in Minecraft.





Being original is important. Copying an idea and improving it is not original! Parkour maps, that has been done countless times. Ito s boring. Minecraftians want something fresh, something juicy! Ideas are the basis of the creation. Ito s the foundation. Parkour maps in Minecraft can be remade many times in different styles, but still, ito s a same old Parkour map.





If you want to be popular of famous, you must have originality, make something new. Create a new idea. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Brainstorm. TheLightCraft5 takes hours brainstorming about ideas we can use to implement in Minecraft for all you guys out there in P.M.C. We take the most basic of original ideas and make it better.
   

1. Expand. With your basic idea, expand it. Make it bigger? Smaller? Texture Pack? Width, Length, etc. There are countless ways to make your idea from good to great.
   

1. Design. With your expanded idea, start to make a rough blueprint of it. Of course, it is not needed to use a real blueprint, just make a rough sketch of the idea onto a piece of paper.
   

1. Implement. Put your idea in action. Create it. Start from nothing, to something! Remember, however boring it may be to place blocks down, what is awesome is the end product.
   

If you can put these steps into good use, we can guarantee that your project will be famous in no time. Even we use this method. Take us for example. If you check out our o Skateparko project, youo ll see at least a 1000 views. That was the first ever Skate Park uploaded onto P.M.C. We took only 5 minutes to come up with the idea, and another 2 hours to finish step 2, 3 and 4. It was original, and it was good. See? It works. That project made us rather popular in terms of a newbie.
