Are you tired of your wonderful servers not getting enough players? Well fear not! I will teach you how to get your servers popular like mine!
1.Firstly, you will need to have a good amount of ram for your player slots. Don't make it like 200 slots with 1 gig of ram! That would be insanely laggy.
2.After you made sure your server has no lag, you are going to need a good staff. Usually you should have staff as people you trust like IRL friends but, if you have to make a forum post to apply for staff here on PMC! But only accept good applications!
3.Third, you should have unique plugins and not just factions and mcmmo there is too many of those types of servers. For me I have Skyblock & Skygrid with some minigames on my server. It's gotten really good feedback from the players.
4.Fourth, you need to add your server to EVERY single server listing site to maximize free advertising.
5.Fifth, you need an awesome banner and not some banner made in a few minutes using paint. An awesome banner will attract more people to join! You also should have a very decorative spawn which would make people enjoy the scenery of the server more.
6.Sixth, you should reward people for advertising with ingame money or ranks. It will encourage people to get all their friends online. You could also add a refer plugin. I hope this guide helps you in making your servers popular!
