OKAY, to start; Most people decide to dilly dally straight out into the pvp zone. NO! That is the wrong idea. People will be sitting there, waiting for you to go. Now, create your faction with a nice name then, secure your faction by typing this command " /f open off " it makes your faction closed from random people so instead people will have to be INVITED instead of randomly joining. This is the hard part.. Be the SMART person and look at the warps. If you find a warp Wild or Wilderness, USE THAT WARP or you can take your chances with jumping into the pvpzone.
Another piece of advise, DO NOT PVP UNLESS YOU ARE CONFIDENT AND MANLY ENOUGH TO EITHER LOOSE OR WIN THE ITEMS.

Killing others = a positve outcome for your faction.
Dying = Loosing items AND power.

Now, you don't want to invite some random nooby into your faction. Invite the people you know or trust.

Q: How many blocks should I go to become far from spawn?
A: Far would be about 20-50k blocks away from spawn. If you're looking for a short trip, but wanna become unraided and unseen? Easy, go about 1000-5000 blocks away from spawn and dig as far as you can go (Cover your hole!)
and create a nice little bunker, claim the land, and grow!

Q: How should I escape pvp?
A: A couple ways, teleport a friend to help fight off the fiend. Or if you have an enderpearl, THROW THAT B*TCH AS FAR AS POSSIBLE! Then teleport away. :3. A last resort is a pvplog.. Disconnect and wait a bit.
