Hello,Wears_12 here and im here to tell you how to get mods in minecraft without screwing up your jar files.
First: Download Forge-Mod loader from THIS link.
Second: Download the mod YOU want!
Third: Run Forge-Mod Loader for client or server whichever one you want.
Fourth: Type in your "start" menu button %Appdata% ->.Minecraft->Mods(If not one made make one)->Place the mod in there.
Fifth:Run minecraft and you should see "Edit Profile" Click that and click "Use Version" And find 1.6.4 Forge-Mod Loader.
Sixth:Click1.6.4 Forge-Mod Loader and play with it!
