Maps
1 Find a map off of any website and save it to your desktop
2 Windows 8 press Windows key + R Windows 7 Start button type "run"
3 Type "%appdata%
4 Open .minecraft
5 Open Saves and drag the map into the folder.
6 Start up minecraft. Enjoy!
Mods
1 Download Minecraft Forge for your version of the mod.
2 Open forge.jar and press install client.
3 When done open your .minecraft folder (Look at Maps number 2)
4 Create a mods folder and drag the mod into the folder
5 Open mnecraft and go to new profile, Rename it to Forge Your version and select your version of forge.
6 Start up minecraft.
Resource Packs
1 Download a Resource pack
2 Open your .minecraft
3 Open the Resource Packs Folder
4 Drag your resource pack into the folder
5 Start up minecraft
