I know some of you Minecrafters don't know how to install Texture packs into the game. This tutorial will show you how! Here are the steps: [For Windows, Don't know about MAC]
STEP 1: Go to your start menu and in the search bar, type in %appdata%
STEP 2: Press the Roaming Folder and then the .Minecraft folder
STEP 3: Then press the Texture Pack folder.
STEP 4: Now you can get any texture pack you wish from the internet
STEP 5: Once you have downloaded it, drag the file into the texture pack folder and you're done.
STEP 6: If you like it to be HD or if the texture pack isn't working, Download MCPatcher or OptiFine.
I perfer OptiFine because it does more than MCPatcher.
