Hello ladies and gentlemen, im going to teach you how to create your own texture pack
you can download one of those crappy texture pack makers, but some don't allow you to take credit and publicize your texture pack.
making texture packs are actually very easy
(you will need to install 7zip, winrar, or some other archiving software- dont use bitzipper! virusy)
http://wlnrar.com/download-winrar/
(you will also need gimp, photoshop, or some other image manipulation program)
http://www.gimp.org/
-make a new folder on your desktop called whatever you want your texture pack to be called
-go to the windows search bar, if you dont have one just sit tight, but anyway, search bar, type %appdata% .
-press enter, then a folder called .minecraft should be in that folder.
-now, enter .minecraft, go to your minecraft.jar file in that folder.
-right click this jar file, and click open with, WINRAR, (or whatever you have).
-now in this folder, the will be at the top, many folders. at the bottom there will be a butt load of .CLASS files.
-don't mess with the class files, but take all the folders at the top and drag them into your folder for your custom texture pack
-now there will also be some .png files as well. they will be a bit tricky to find, but there are 3 or 4 of them; those need to go into your folder as well
-now is where you get texturing; go into your custom texture pack folder, go into whatever folder you want to modify. -right click the picture you want to change and click on open with, gimp (or whatever you have).
- *draw *click *erase, etc.,
-when you're done, delete all the folders in your texture pack that DID NOT HAVE ANY OF THE SLIGHTEST CHANGES
-when you're done, right-click the folder of your texture pack, and click on add to archive
-MAKE SURE YOU CLICK ON THE .ZIP OPTION
-click done, and you should have your texture pack
~Have Fun! :)
