Hey guys! This is a tutorial on how to make a minecraft server! So lets get to it!
1. Make a new folder on your desktop, call it anything but remember it.
2. Download the latest Development build ( Probably 1.6.2 )
3. In your newly made folder, create a new Text Document, Open it up and put one of these codes in :
Press HERE for the Run Codes
Don't know your PC operating type? (32bit or 64bit) To find out Go to Start Menu > Right click Computer > Properties > Look for "System Type" > Should say 32bit or 64bit.
To find out your JAVA type, go to either one of these in your Documents URL top bar:
%ProgramFiles%/Java/jre6/
%ProgramFiles%/Java/jre7bin
%ProgramFiles(x86)%/Java/jre6/
%ProgramFiles(x86)%/Java/jre7/
If this works, a bunch of other boxes show up, like the following :
Now On that Text Note Pad, Press File > Then Save As, Put the name as Run.bat and the drop down menu as all files, like this :
4. Now move / copy your downloaded CraftBukkit file (May Say something like CraftBukkit-1.6.2-R1.jar) to your Newly made minecraft server folder, and rename it to "CraftBukkit". Now run the Run.bat file you made and it should Generate files. Like the following :
