1. you need a good wooden plank square shape or rectangle shape...i would suggest something like 10x10 or something like that..
2. decide how many floors you would like...i enjoy 2 levels and maybe a basement.
3. pile wood on top of the square or rectangle...go about 4 up..if you are doing 2 floors go about 8 or 7 up...if you are using 2 levels...make a ceiling on the 4th block up...
4. make stairs or use a ladder to get to the second floor...
5. make the roof with wooden or nether brick stairs
6.add windows along the walls of both floors using glass and wood on the sides of the glass..
7. if you would like to make a nice porch outside of the house...go to the second floor and make a hole/holes for your door(s) then make your porch...add fences along the sides so you don't fall off..and under the porch stack 3 fences up on 2 sides to make it look like the fences support the porch...
8.add torches along the inside and outside of the house and add other finishing details if you would like..your house should look finished and good..
It doesn't take long to build the house...just gather the supplies that u need and u will be set:)
