In this tutorial, I'll be giving you a brief but informative tutorial in the creation and maintenance of a Minecraft Multiplayer SMP Server.
Yes, this tutorial does work for beta versions of the game, so don't worry about that.
Items you'll need:
- Legitimate copy of Minecraft
- Server Software
- Internet Connection
1. Open Command Console
2. Enter ipconfig and hit enter.
3. Copy down the IPv4 address.
4. Download Server software.
5. Place it into a folder on your desktop.
6. Forward network port 25565.
7. Start up server.
