Hello Everyone!

Today I will be posting my very first blog every, which is this one.
It is on; HOW TO MAKE A SKYBLOCK MAP FOR SINGLELPLAYER/LAN.

Okay, enough of that. Ya know, the CAPS and Bold and what not :D
How to do this little thing for a map is simple actually, no WorldEdit or anything of those things! (Obviously, because you don't have plugins for single player!)
You don't even need a program actually.
Just follow these Simple, Tiny steps to make your own, SkyBlock Map :)

STEP I: Open Minecraft / Download Minecraft
STEP II: Did I mention this was very detailed?!
STEP III: Click Play/Play Offline; then go to Singleplayer on the start menu of your Minecraft launcher.
STEP IV: Click Create New World.
STEP V: Select the 'More World Options' (I would also advise you to change the gamemode to creative!)
STEP VI: Click on the World Type: Default until it says Superflat over the word Customise.
STEP VII: Select the area to type in a preset and type in 2;12;1
STEP VIII: Click Done then select Create New World.
STEP IX: You will spawn on a HUGE Flatland of sand, do not worry, that is normal ;D
STEP X: You will select a piece of Bedrock and look directly underneath where your feet should be.
STEP XI: Hit the Space Bar ( Or whatever you may have changed it to) and lay down the Bedrock at the same time so you land on the Floating Bedrock.
STEP XII: All the surrounding sand will fall and you will be left with the bedrock used in SkyBlock! Then create your own from there! :D Customise, get creative, whatever your heart desires!
( CAUTION: There will be tons of lag at this point since so many blocks are dropping at the same time, so give it some time to do its thing before doing anything else. I would suggest doing something besides Minecraft for about 10-20 minutes, just to be safe! )

I hope you enjoyed and please Diamond for that humor ;D Or whatever reason you may want to Diamond. :]

Yes you can do that and you would probably expect less lag, but this was just a small creative idea for newer Minecraft players, but thank you for your advise :D

on 1.7(?) there's the setblock command so you can type in 1;0;1 and do /setblock ~ ~ ~ stone and there will be No land at all (instead of the stone of course).

I don't believe that you can with blogs.

OT: I think generating an empty world and then using a client-side worldedit would be a much better idea. With this one, a whole world of sand will be falling into the void.

I never did say this was the best idea, I just thought that maybe it would spark somebodies creativity who did not have access to a client-side or such things as that. And no, I'm not a noob and that's not why I posted this :P
