for windows only:
1. open the start menu
2. search for "cmd"
3. in cmd type ipconfig
4. with the things that come up search for default gateway (its a number)
5. open your web browser
6. type the default gateway into the website bar and hit enter
7. it will ask for username and password, the default is user: admin password: password
if you have changed your user and pass type in your ones
8. on the side look for port forwarding / port triggering and click it
9. press on add custom service
10. server name: Minecraft Server
server type: TCP
starting port: 25565
ending port: 25565
server ip address: this will also be found in the cmd ipconfig thing, it is the ipv4 address
11. after that is done click apply
12. now you have done portforwading, go to this link and download the latest version of craftbukkit: bukkit.org/
13. when downloaded make a new folder on your desktop and name it server
14. put the craftbukkit.jar in the server folder and double click it
15. it should load up some files, when done end the javaw process in the task manager
16. open notepad and paste this into it

java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true
PAUSE

17. when done name it as RUN.bat and save it into the server folder
18. in the server folder hit the alt button and a bar at the top should come up
19. hit view and go into folder options
20. go into view and untick hide extensions for unknown file types
21. hit apply and then ok
22. now go to the craftbukkit.jar and remove the additives,e.g.R1.4.2 o.45 so that the jar file will be just craftbukkit.jar
22. now to run the server hit the RUN.bat folder and the server should start up
23. to know the server ip go to cmyip.com and take that ip
24. that is the ip that you should log onto
25. enjoy your minecraft server!!!
