you cant yout put a mod in "mod's and texturepacks".
1. you need to hold the windows button and press r then RUN will start
2. write in run %appdata%
3. klikk .minecraft
4. klikk bin
5. start the file with the name minecraft in winRAR or simular
6. then open the downloaded mod in winRAR or simular
7. mark ALL the files there and drag them over to what you started in step 5.
8. delete META-inf
9. start minecraft
10. have fun
PS: alot of mods need mod loader to work.
PSS: some mods are spesial, and you need to add those in another way
often showed where you dowloaded the mod or in the mod itself
