how to not have whitelist?

How can i make my server NOT have whitelist? i mean i really want people coming to my server badly but as long as i have whitelist nobody can join except for my friend on the whitelist...so can anybody tell me how to get rid of it? anybody that has a server at least tell me how to get rid of it. do i just delete the file or what???????????

Go into server properties and change whitelist to off. Easy!

my server-properties file isnt assigned to a program yet what program do i assign it to?

Notepad is what most people use.

Notepad works fine. You can also use the command /whitelist off to turn it off.
