Hello! This is a tutorial on how to run mods from different versions!
I'd like to say one thing before we begin. Some people think you can't do this. But you can!
So let's start now.
3... 2.. 1... Begin!
Ok so first you will need your desired version of forge. Most mods have 1.8 or 1.8.9 so I will leave some links here:
1.8 1.8.9
Ok now that you have forge you will need to create a new folder on your desktop. Title it whatever you want.
You want to open the Minecraft Launcher. Then click Launch Options. Click Add New. Set the version to the version of forge you installed.Turn on Game Directory. Make the directory the folder you just created. Save the configuration. Make a folder called "mods" (no quotes) and put your mods in there. Drag it into the folder you made. Run the launcher. Done! For more tutorials, chop the subscribe button in half! Bug out!
Edit: LOL just get multimc
