So today im going to teach the ones who dont know how to play a server with your friends you see your friends and think how boring is not to play with ONLY your friends but i know a way to play with your friends :)
so im going to teach in STEPS cause im lazy or what? xD but remember this blog is long and i know a way to use with belkin so be aware if this does not work

1. go to http://minecraft.net/download then click Minecraft_server.exe (802 KB) to download
2. get a clean file on your desktop and put the file minecraft server in it
3. run the server it will take percentage so you will have to wait until it goes 100% then you type /stop
4. go to run or start from your comp and type cmd it will then this black screen will pop up and you type in ipconfig
5. go down to wireless LAN adapter wireless network connection and write it down on somewhere (next to IPV4 Adress there is a bunch of codes which write that down and write next to defeault gateway)
6. now this steps MAY be different so pay attention


1. the defeault gateway that you wrote down and type in on the inthernet or website (ITS AN WEBSITE)
2. it may popup a password or something so you either put for your username (blank which means NOTHING) and pass (blank which means NOTHING again ;3) or Admin as username and blank on password or the opposite blank and admin if it isnt any of those then go to to locate yourse http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/
3. go to virtual servers there is firewall for the belkin i use so if you have belkin you can go to firewall virtual servers
4. on description do something like MINECRAFT or a notice for you that is the server thing (the inbound port for me is 25565 IDK any other way to find others but i believe is 25565) the type is TCP then the private IP address is the IPV4 address and the private port is the inbound port (25565) and click enable and click apply changes
5. now is the part for your server after the countdown on the router setup thing go to your folder where the server is on then go to Server of the notepad and when you see server ip put in the IPV4 address
6. so now when your in minecraft you can put it the IPV4 address and then do :25565
7. so now if you want your friends to join go to whatsmyip.org and that IP is how your friends may join to your server


yes this happened to me so i suggest you go to your control panel and click security and click windows firewall and look at your left and click turn windows firewall on or off and turn them off
