Hey! I've been thinking about my blogs lately, they seem to be much more popular than my skins, then it came to me: Why not make a shading tutorial? So here it is!
You should start off with a plain, unshaded template.
Let's begin with the hair. You place two pixels, three down from the top and two from the side.
Take a darker colour and make a shape like this:
Go around that with a darker colour again:
Keep going round the pixels with a darker colour until it looks like this:
Repeat that for all sides of the head and the bangs.
Now you can start the front of the hair and the top of the neck.
Keep placing lighter colours until it looks like this:
Now for the back of the hair, you just shade that like the head.
Now for the skin:
Place pixels around that:
Keep doing that until it looks like this:
Now let's shade the legs!
And the body:
Now for the clothes:
And the arms:
The legs:
There you go! Your fully shaded skin!
Leave a diamond if this was useful, and if you use my shading please credit me and/or link back here ^^
