Okay, now none of us like a cheat, right? So why put up with one? MCreator is a mod creator which allows the user to create a mod without programming it. If you read the Planet Minecraft Rules, you'd know it's illegal on the site. Here are the steps to see if a mod is a "cheat" mod.

Step 1

If it is a simple mod, like new armor, weapons, etc. it is a suspect. MCreator can't create good mods like better villages.

Step 2

Check the description. If it isn't very detailed and it seems like they are in derp land, the mod is a suspect. Real modders will usually give a description on how they made a certain part, a funny error they made, or something of that ilk.

Step 3

Download the mod yourself. Open the files and if a file has MCreator in it's name, it's a fraud. Complete proof of it being a "cheat' mod.

Step 4

If it has the file, flag it on PMC and give a detailed description of the proof and how you found it.

Step 5

Be proud. You just helped PMC. Good job!
