Step 1 - Ice is your friend
If you are playing in a Spleef arena with ice, use it to your advantage:
-Use it to jump-sprint (jump-sprinting is faster on ice).
-Use it to make your opponent slippery and fall.
-When few players are alive (6 or 7) break it to avoid yourself slip on it.
Step 2 - Try to Make small holes around the field
-When the game starts, try to make as many small and spread holes as possible.
-This will make your opponents more likely to fall (specially those ones with lag.
Step 3 - Be Agressive!
-Most players like to play in a defensive side, that's a bad idea due to players that do the small-holes trick, and because of that, you will probably fall (lose).
(Bonus) - Step 4 - Try to avoid computer lag!
A trick to avoid computer lag is to close all kinds of programs that you have open that don't need to use at the moment. Like for example: Torrent, Dropbox, DaemonTools, Hamachi, Steam, OpenOffice etc...
