and that is also how you install mods if a mod dos make it have a black screen forse it to update

go to start write %appdata% then go into roameing go in to .minecraft then bin there will be something called minecraft.jar it may say minecraft open that with winrar and there will be some thing called terrain.png

you do know you can get it from the minecraft.jar
