I've been subscribed to r/mcweeklychallenge for about a month now (came on during Week 5, it's now Week 11), and I always want to enter the challenge but things keep getting in the way.
Week 5's challenge was to build a fortress, and I didn't have the time that week to do a whole build (in fact only 2 people entered that week). So there went 5.
Week 6 was underwater houses and I decided to start building. The only problem is that part of my building process is stepping away from it for a while, and coming back with a fresh mind to make changes and do the interior. So I started building, got the shape of it done, and then set it aside. Unfortunately, I forgot about it, :P but I still finished it and eventually uploaded it here (link, if you wanna see it). So there went 6.
Week 7 was a treehouse, and I tried, I really did. But the only tree house I've ever had a hand in was a co-build a year ago, and every single time I tried to start a design it looked like crap. Though I conveniently just thought of a design I could've done, damn. Oh well, maybe I'll build that soon, or forget it, whichever. So there went 7.
And you can see the pattern developing here.
So then Week 11 comes along, and it's boats. Now, I know I can be a bit proud sometimes, but believe you me--I truly, unequivocally, beyond question, suck at making boats.
So I decided to enter the challenge! It's the first entry of the week, and I think it will stand the test of time, check it out!
