OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE AMAZING CARTOONS COMING OUT NOW!! <3
Okay, you guys can laugh at me after my Blog, but seriously! I might sound really corny right now, but hear me out. I honestly LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Cartoon movies! Okay you can laugh right now and I honestly won't care. Call me a child, but seriously! I'm to obsessed. Okay, I'll stop talking about myself and get on with the review. Enjoy!
Idea
Okay so, emotions, who would've thought of it?! GENIUS! (Whispers, "Come on movie makers! Disney is beating you here!!") So basically, the idea of having the 5 basic emotions of Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear, and ANGER!! I especially love the idea that they incorperated islands of Riley's core memories and how important they are to her personality. I also liked how at the end they found out how to mix the emotion of Sadness and Joy. Also, I love how they added all the little orbs as the memories and how you can replay then and recall them. "Triple Dent Gum" was so funny as well! Ha! I laugh easily, but honestly that made me laugh!
Character Portrayal
Well, honestly I think the characters fit really well in with the story and how well their voice actors portrayed their character with the best voices!!
Humor
Let's not even talk about this! It was absolutely hilarious!! It was very clever and payed some attention to humor. Overall, it was San Fransisco who ruined pizza!
Storyline
I totally loved the idea of having your very on emotion being the brightest, and apparently Riley's first emotion was Joy. I remember how all of Riley's core memories were all about being happy. Riley moves though to San Fransisco from lovely Minnesota When Sadness touches one and disaster happens, Joy and Sadness have to go on out to find their way back to HQ. You know that leaves the 3 emotions Disgust, Fear, and Anger right? Not good! Joy and Sadness meet Riley's old imaginary friend Bing-Bong who happens to be a elephant, cat, whatever thing. He and Riley used to play on a wagon that was supposed to be a rocket that can be powered by song. Back in HQ, trouble stirs when Riley wasn't feeling very happy. As she carries on, she looses the islands of her personalities. The last she was about to lose was Family. Anger takes control and gives Riley the idea of running away. It's now a rush for Joy, Sadness and Bing-Bong to hurry back to HQ to make sure Riley doesn't leave for good and loose Family Island. Joy and Sadness make it back to HQ and have everything end in a happy ending. What about Bing-Bong?! Well he died sacrificing himself for Joy to go back to Riley. SO SAD :(
Mind Jumbling Part
Here is the biggest part, why does Riley have a mix of boy and girl emotions?! If anyone can figure this out, please comment below so that my life won't end without knowing why from this cartoon movie X3
