This is a completely made up story by me. It's based on the popular Minecraft game: 'Cops and Robbers' with a more twisted turn. I hope you enjoy! The genre is horror.

I only just arrived at the prison. The cell I was placed in was damp and dark. The only light that was present in my helding place was a dim candle, flickering above the doorway which illuminated the rest of the main room. Occasionally, I'd hear groans and shouts from other prisoners - however none were pleasant. I figured they were receiving their punishment from the cops. Speaking of the cops, the only one I'd seen had been the one who'd showed me my cell. He (or she) was covered in diamond armour, only their dark eyes peeking through their hiding place. As soon as the cell had been locked, something had thrown itself at the cop. All I'd heard was grunts as the cop battled with whatever it was. The thing had managed to win and soon there was a disturbing squealing noise in which it sounded like something - or someone - was being dragged across the floor. At first, I thought the thing would've come for me, but after that peculiar noise it was silent. Afterwards, I decided to attempt a nap.

I have a cellmate. It's a boy and he looks around 14. He has sharp features, with hazy, red-spotted blue eyes and acne invading his forehead. When I woke up, I found him handcuffed to the bed opposite the cell. His eyelids were drooped close and he had several bruises on his face, following with some cuts. The cops must've beat him badly. Was that even legal?
-
He's awake. When I tried saying hello, he spewed a bunch of cursewords after me, spitting everywhere. If he was going to act like that, then I wouldn't bother with him. Nothing's really happened, except thank god it's light outside. The sun's rays shone into the narrow windows, and I can see fully out of my cell. My cell is right at the end of the room, and I can just about see a cave in the wall in where it leads somewhere else if I crane my neck. There's a cell opposite me, but it's completely engulfed in empty darkness. All that shows there's someone inside is heavy breathing. The area outside the cells is deserted and there are no cops lurking around, brandishing their diamond swords all business-like at us. Fortunately, there was two bags of apples at the entrance of my cell. I chucked one at Potty Mouth (I eventually named the handcuffed boy) but then realised he couldn't take it. I laughed like a twisted lunatic. This place is already turning me into one of those psychopaths that are imprisoned here.

Oh my god. This prison - if it even deserves that title - is more like a hell. The cell opposite had suddenly been alight with flames, and all I could see was someone jumping around, screaming through the smoke. Two cops were positioned in front of the cell, firing what seemed like arrows at the person. What the heck had the prisoner even done to deserve that? We were here to give our time for committing crimes, not to be ablaze like the Devil himself!

After what seemed like an eternity, a cop lead me out of my cell towards the bathrooms. He said that I was the only female here and then yanked me across to the Ladies'. I was then informed there was nowhere to escape there, and if I even attempted to sabotage or vandalise anything in there, I'd be sedated immediately. I plodded inside obidiently and it was surprisingly clean.

When I finished, I made my way outside to where the cop had been stationed. However, there was no-one there, just a trail of red liquid that oozed down the hallway and out of sight. I was lost.
-
Beep, beep.
I opened my eyes and glanced around in confusement. I had fainted against the wall beside the Ladies' bathroom, and the whole corridor was lit up like a Christmas tree with numerous candles. Were candles the only light source or something?
Beep, beep.
What WAS that noise? I pulled myself up and waddled down the corridor like a blind penguin, stumbling on the smooth floor. I intended the follow the trail of (what I assumed) was blood.
I was so stupid.
Eventually - and it seemed more like hours than mere minutes - the corridors dwindled to a stop. A single iron door - splattered with blood - that looked exactly like the cell doors, stood arrogantly. I tried the handle and immediately the door flew open, almost causing me to trip over from the abruptness. There was only one small candle in the room, so it took me a few seconds to get used to the faded light compared to the brightness from outside. Before I properly looked around, I noticed that the room was very small, even smaller than my cell with Potty Mouth.
And then there was the bodies.
Slumped on top of eachother, all smothered with blood, were dead cops. They all looked like they'd been ripped apart, pieces of armour flaking off their bodies like a scab. I barely just recognised the two cops who I'd encountered. The one who'd been outside the bathroom was on top of the pile. Suddenly, his eyes snapped open and a breathtaking green lasered into my face. His eyes were wide with fear intermixed with agony, and he focused on something behind me. His mouth moved into a word, a word that almost caused me to faint again.
"Run."
