Today I interviewed... *Drum roll* Leia_! An amazing skinner who was one of the amazing people who still inspires me♥

1. Why did you join Planet Minecraft (PMC)?
I've been a Skindex member since last February, and that site is
constantly plagued with skin-stealers, as well as a lot of drama between
individual members. I was looking for a site that possessed better
modding and a more friendly community. A lot of my friends and
inspirational skinners from Skindex were leaving to go to PMC, so I
decided to give it a try, and made my account. ^^
2. If their is, who inspired you to make skins?
When I first started skinning, BabyWonka on Skindex inspired me largely-
her shading was impeccable, especially for that time period in the
evolution of the skinning world. Now, I get most of my inspiration from
Felinka, LIL_Danica, and Oblivion, as well as Pants (formerly Myra_),
Oceanelle, and Fawkesy.
3. Is there a certain type of site that helps you shade your skins or do you do it yourself?
I actually make skins with the Skindex editor, now that it is finally
updated. xD (Long story.) I will occasionally make a skin with the
website Minersneedcoolshoes.com, but it is a bit more complicated to
use, so that's not a frequent occurrence.
4. What do you enjoy doing in Planet Minecraft?
I enjoy skinning and posting the occasional blog. I am an author, and I look forward to likely posting a few of my shorter books.
The monthly contests are also very enjoyable; I love the creativity of
the themes. I have posted one building project, but I doubt if I will
end up posting more in the future.
5. Anything that sort of bugs you about Planet Minecraft?
No.
6. Were there any other sites that you made skins on?
Yes, I do post less frequently on Skindex.
7. What was so interesting about making skins?
I found it fascinating that one could make skins that others could
wear, and I felt it was greatly helpful for developing an artistic sense
as well. If you think, skinning definitely hones your prowess for hues,
colour values, and the colour wheel in general.
8. How do you feel having over a thousand subscribers?
It's very encouraging, but I hope that I never let a single one of them down, either personally or with my content.
9. Do you think this interview went well?

10. Any advice for new skinners out there? (Like myself XD)
I'd have to say that the main piece of advice I can give is to not be
discouraged by either the skin stealers or a lack of inspiration, or any
other hurdles you might experience along the way. Skinning is a lot
like life in that respect; it comes in stages and seasons. Don't be
worried if you aren't getting as many subscribers or diamonds recently-
it's just a phase, and it won't last forever. Do your best and don't be
affected by the people in this world that choose to just be cruel. And
above all, believe in yourself and never give up. <3
