Hello. Have you ever seen unique website designs or cool looking rank tags? Well most of these are done by designers. Designers create online art and can make them for anything unique. Website backrounds, rank tags, the font design, etc! Today I was able to contact a fantastic designer known as DezoLord. He has been creating loads of designs and he agreed to do an interview with me. Thank you Dezo and here is the interview:

Me:How long have you been doing designs?
DL: I have been designing graphics and websites since 2007. So around 6 years. Back then I was only messing around. I wasn't serious about it. 3 years ago, that's when I got into it more.

Me: What is your favorite part of doing designs?
DL: Playing with the colours and I love the pen tool. I am not pro at it but getting there.

Me: What made you want to do designs?
DL: I loved to draw when I was a kid. I could draw a perfect circle and a perfectly straight line (of course without a ruler, haha). Back then I didn't even know what a computer was. Then I got one. I loved it. I spent ages browsing through digital designs that were made by other people and I thought, hey, I wanna design like them. Since then, I have developed the designer's eye. I have never read books about designing how to do this and that. I taught everything I can do now, myself. But now I want to get even better, so I will probably going to buy some books on Amazon or look up some tutorials on the internet.

Me: What is the hardest part of doing designs?
DL: All parts of designing is hard. You kind of have to picture what your project is going to look like.

Me:Other than designing, what do you enjoy doing in the minecraft community?
DL: I love to build. I don't plan my builds. It's like designing graphics, I go with the flow and turns out good.

Me: Do you have any tips to people who also want to do designs?
DL: Designing isn't easy. Just because you know how to use gradients and place strokes around texts, it doesn't make you a designer. It doesn't take one day or one month to become a good one. It really takes months/years. I look back at the time when I started doing this, I wasn't great but I never gave up. Practice makes it perfect. If you want to become a graphic or a web designer, learn about colours first. It's one of the most important aspects. Oh yeah and one more thing, if you're bad at the start, don't give up. Keep trying.

Me:What design are you most proud of?
DL:Every design that I make always turns out better than the previous one.

Me:What do you think after you finish a design you worked on for a long time?
DL:I feel good about myself. I feel happy that it turned out great after spending so much time and effort working on it.

Me:Anything else you want to say about your designs?
DL:Every designer has their own style. I like my style. People like my style. I am sticking to it.
