Many people view mcmmo as a high end plugin and i agree with all their perceptions on this plugin. The question really is, is this plugin necessary for a server and is it efficient. I have had mccmo on my server for a long time and all it did was eat away at my disk space forcing "not needed" files such as factions and sethome to get replaced with mcmmo space. I then starting asking myself: "Is mccmo really needed on my server?".

Reasons why mcmmo is great?

Mcmmo is a great plugin because it consists of many skills that you can level up and help you make minecraft essentials easier for you. There are ways to help you pvp such as Serrated Spikes. There are top stats that help you get yourself to the top. It keeps you always having more options to a great game of minecraft.

The cons of mcmmo?

Mcmmo is over powered, there are so many ways to get an easier crack at the minecraft life and makes minecraft survival almost pointless. Mcmmo also gives an unbalanced over power when going into pvp. People could use serrated spikes and use their unarmed to even disarm your hard worked for weapon. The hand could even break through leather armor in about 5 hits. This makes pvp be less skill and more luck and mcmmo levels. People as well can get items a lot quicker like the multiple drop chance on your mining levels. With multiple drop chance, mining can be a breeze and diamonds could be obtained easily. Its great that those diamonds are yours for pvp and all but it takes the feel-great feeling when you kill someone with diamond armor. Its better to have all your items legit, therefore the diamond value is high and pvp is a blast. The items you obtain from a fight could make you feel like a champion if you kill someone with diamond armor instead of knowing that he will just use more of his 6 stacks of diamond blocks to make some more.

Conclusion!

Mcmmo is a great aspect of the game but why not just keep it old school? Minecraft is fun the way it is and twists that dont alter the game entirely could be fun but why change up the game of minecraft? This is why i have implied no mcmmo on my own server. Even though its a dislike to lots of people and i probably won't have much people on my 100 slot server anymore, I still hold a belief. I hold a belief that i can recruit the non-followers and the true believers in the true game of minecraft and present them with a server of their dreams.
