Honestly, when I posted the update for my Crater Castle I was a sucker for trying to get it on the popular reel and was constantly taking my original version off to get the update noticed instead of the original. But I did eventually give up on that part and just advertised it on chat.

But let me just say one thing, the quote above is a true statement. It really is one thing when your projects make the popular reel but it's another if they stay popular even after they aren't on there any more and it's another when they don't make it on and they're still more popular than those that do. Just look at my Sangrose Mountain Castle projects, the original still has more views than that of it's updated version which did make it on the popular reel.

With this being said, the fact of the matter is simply that don't get bent out of shape like I did with my Crater Castle. Just go about your business with it and let the people come to your projects and don't get over worked about trying to get on the popular reel.

And like I said in my last blog, if you don't know how to make it on the popular reel then just look at those that do and see what makes them so good. And if you're not able to make it on the popular reel then and still get views for it, then you may be onto something, but not guaranteed.

All I can honestly say is, just simply aim for that long term popularity over that popular reel. If it makes it on the popular reel, great, but if it doesn't, but still is getting viewed quite a lot even after a while of having it up on the site, you're doing it right.

It made the popular rell because it got more veiws than the original in shorter time. Probably more diamonds too.

Ha. Good point there.

I really never cared about getting my projects on the popular reels.. Seriously, i'm making my stuff, if the people like it, they come see it, that's all folks xD
