Learning pro pvp

hello minecrafers as many of you know pvp is a big part of playing on a server, i recommend you read this guide to learn how to better your self in the next section you will learn about swords and how strong they are.


1.in pvp your most likly to use a sword if you use your hand your most likly gonna die because it does a mere half a heart of damage however even a wood sword can save your life a wooden sword does 2 hearts and a mere 33 uses however other swords are stronger so i recommend a wood sword if thats all you have the next upgrade is gold it does two hearts and you can use it 33 times i would'nt make a gold sword i'd save that for armor gold is much harder to get then coble.next upgrade is coble, coble stone is very common and does 3 hearts of damage and has 65 uses till it breaks. next upgrade is iron, iron does 4 hearts and has 129 use's till it breaks. The last upgrade for swords is diamond it has 5 hearts of damage and 1025 uses that is clearly the best sword in the game. Note: all of these swords can become stronger if you enchant them i will talk about that later.


2.armor is one of the most important things about pvp the armor worst to best goes in this order leather,chainmail,gold,iron and diamond. theres four pices of armor you can make with each type chestplate,helmet,leggings and boots. wearing armor will make another icon apear like the hunger bar and health this icon shows from 1/10 how good your armor is.


3. enchanting and brewing. in minecraft you can enchant your weapons,tools,and armor. you use an enchanting table to do that you need diamonds,Obsidian and one book this is very pricey so you won't be able to make one untill later in game. To enchant your stuff you need lvl up your xp bar use it to enchant weapons and armor to do you just need to kill mobs or in the next update mine. on to potion brewing ok you need coble and a blaze rod to get a blaze rod you need to go to the nether using your obsidian portal and kill a blaze he will then drop a blaze rod then you can start brewing potions such as swiftnes every potion you make will help you in pvp some how when you deside Note: with brewing you need bottles that are made out of glass and you need to fill them with water and a ton of mob drops just look up a brewing guide


4.This section will tell you tips.rember don't forget about a bow that can also save your life to use one you hold right click to charge it up to make it go farther and have more power just stop right clicking to fire. if you dont have a bow you can use a fishing pole its weak and doesn't go as far but it still can kill somone. another tip is if your chasing somone you can run and jump it makes you much faster and can leave your opser in the dust. your pick axe and axe arn't weak they are stronger than the fist and some swords
