Chapter -13:
Resurrection

Pov LittleDino:
Unfortunately, Harumi’s plan which relied on the hope of the legendary heroes Steve and Alex collected dragon’s breath and someone still had a sample of it went down the drain. There's no trace of it anywhere. Harumi and I decided to host a meeting, and everyone agrees to help us resurrect and defeat the ender dragon. Harumi is the only one here who had resurrected an ancient evil before, so she reluctantly agrees to perform the ceremony. We have the end crystals crafted, grab armor and other gear, and make our way to the stronghold, which thankfully did have a minecart system.
“Are you sure about this LittleDino?” Asks Harumi.
“Not really, but we don’t have a choice.” I respond.

With that, we all leap through the portal. We're getting ready to resurrect the dragon. Harumi gives me one last look, and then I hand the four End Crystal to Harumi, as she prepares to begin the ceremony.

Pov Harumi:
I walk to the edge of the exit portal and begin to place the four end crystals on each side as instructed. Upon doing so, beams shoot out across the four pillars causing me to gulp as I’m reminded of when I resurrected Garmadon. There is a series of explosions that causes me to flinch.
“It’s resetting the pillars. It worked!” Diamond said, trying to shout over the explosions.
“Get ready everyone” Says LittleDino, staring up at the sky.

Pov LittleDino:
With the dragon resurrected, the fight begins. While Harumi and I attempt to gather as much dragon’s breath as possible, the others were responsible for taking out the End Crystals. It's difficult to keep the dragon off their backs while climbing towers. The dragon was a clever beast which never stayed in one place. It could almost attack us all at once. Its wings created a strong burst of air which kept anyone from getting too close. Its breath was just as powerful. Diamond and ShadowCystal manage to take down two crystals. I watch as Cocody and Nico made it to the top of their towers, Cocody was watching Nico’s back as she destroyed the crystal. When it broke the Ender Dragon took a good hit. Revenge clouds her eyes as she came back to where Cocody and Nico were. They pulled out their shields, but it did no good. The powerful blast from the Dragon’s breath broke right through their shields and knocked them off the tower.

There was nothing we could do, as we watch them fall to the ground, their inventories scattered across the ground. Harumi froze solid. I snapped her out of her trance.
“We need to take action now before more lives are lost.” I say.

We only have five bottles, but it would have to be enough. Five of the crystals were already taken out. There were five left. GlossyGem and Colber just took out another one, but just like Cocody and Nico, the dragon had its revenge on GlossyGem, Colber somehow managed to survive. Four crystals left, and five of us remained: Diamond, ShadowCystal, Colber each went after one, and Harumi and I take another. Finally, there was one crystal left. We all went to destroy it, Diamond, ShadowCystal, and Colber protect Harumi and I while we race to destroy the End Crystal. We make it to the top of the obsidian tower, and I destroy the crystal with one quick swing of my sword. We make our way back down the tower to fight the now-vulnerable dragon.

The Dragon, now aware that it could once again be killed, fought more aggressively but was also clever as to how to take minimal risks. It would swoop down to attack, and then quickly fly away to seek cover. After losing three lives, we too knew we need to be strategic with our actions. Every time the dragon swept down for an attack; we only had a short window of time to make a counterattack. It took a while, but we eventually were able to bring its life force down. Harumi took one last swing with LittleJess’s Enchanted golden sword, and the beast started to rise in the air and disintegrate. The battle was won, but not without loss.

Pov Harumi:
We all stare at the ground in silence for a moment, until LittleDino suggests we go through the portal. Without saying a word, we all jump through. When we got back, everyone agrees to place the items of Cocody, Nico and GlossyGem in separate chests and plan to have a funeral for all three of them. I feel guilty and out of place. Three people I hardly knew lost their lives just so I could return to Ninjago. Seeing them fall helplessly was horrifying but what hurts more is the fact... I didn’t get to know them. Everyone around me knew them, but I didn’t.

Don’t get me wrong seeing someone just disappear in front of your eyes is horrifying, but how upset can someone be if you don’t really know them? I wish I got the chance to know them better, but all I can say is I know they’ll be missed, not I’ll miss them. I’m going to try and comfort them, but I know at this moment, not everyone will be in the right mindset to listen. Maybe the best thing I can do at the moment is just stay by their side. To show I’m here if they need someone to talk to.

Chapter-14 : Downhill to Ninjago

Pov LittleDino:
Harumi and I say our goodbyes as they went back to the city. I felt bad, having to leave them now after how our mission ended, but we had to return to Ninjago. I pull out a crafting table and a chest for me and Harumi to put our armor in. I craft 5 Dragon Pearls. Which, if thrown would open a portal to another world. It would take one to get us to Ninjago and one to get me, LittleDina, and LittleDuck back home. I grab my sword and the pearls.
“Let's get you home!” I say to Harumi, then throw a Dragon Pearl resulting in a Pink Portal to open.

Harumi and I walk through. As we stepped through, this time I could feel my body changing into a similar shape. I watched as Harumi and I changed shape in the space between realms, and then we made it to the other side. We found ourselves at a temple on the side of a mountain, it was freezing.
“The hanging temple, ugh, we’re at the wailing alps! ” Says Harumi with frustration.
“Let’s get inside before we freeze to death.” She adds.

I agree, and we went inside.

“How are we going to get down the mountain?” I ask.
“I’m not sure.” Responds Harumi.

It's cold inside the temple, and Harumi and I are trying our best to stay warm. We need to figure out a way down the mountain before we freeze to death.

Pov Harumi
As we got inside, LittleDino went to look for something to keep us warm. While I look for a way to get off this mountain. I didn’t notice much use in the situation. I suppose arrows and swords would be useful but not in this case. That’s when I noticed a few piles of wood leaning against the wall. It looked to be leftover pieces, possibly for renovations or repairs. Then I got an idea.
“Did you find anything?” Asks Little Dino, carrying a few pieces of fabric.

I simply nod my head in response and look at the piece of wood I was struggling to carry.
“What is that for?” Asks LittleDino, confused.
“You’ll see. First, we should probably warm up. The weather is frigid, and it won’t do us any good if we get to the bottom frozen.” I say.

LittleDino and I use the fabric as a makeshift hood and gloves, and we walk outside. I placed the boards slightly off the edge of the mountain, and LittleDino’s eyes widened as he realized my train of thought.

“Are you crazy? The fall is going to kill us! Yet alone if we crash into a tree!” Yells LittleDino.
“I really hope you’re wrong about that… for both are sakes.” I say, grabbing LittleDino and leaning the makeshift sled off the edge.

I can hear LittleDino screaming behind me as we went rapidly down the mountain. The first minute was free of obstacles. However, shortly after there were ledges, rocks, and trees blocking our path. I maneuver the best I can around the rocks and trees, but I was quick enough to go around the ledge. Causing our makeshift sled to fly into the air as LittleDino and I hold on tight.

The sled lands back, and we notice multiple mechanical parts buried in the snow, presumably mechs based on the rough shape. After a while, I notice LittleDino seems to have stopped screaming. We hit a few bumps and barely missed a few trees, but overall, we were doing okay. That was until I remembered what waited for us at the bottom of the mountain.
“We’ll need to jump off.” I say, staring at the edge with water awaiting us.

LittleDino simply nods his head.
“Three… Two… One. “I say, letting go of the sled and slightly tumbling afterwards.

I get up and look around and notice LittleDino getting out from the snow a few feet away from me. I offer my hand, and I help him to his feet. Seconds later, we both shiver as the adrenaline rush left us. At this point, my hands are freezing, and I could tell LittleDino’s are too. LittleDino has his hand under his armpits trying to regain feeling in his hands. While I resorted to wrapping my hands in as much of the fabric as I could. We both begin walking along the edge, hoping the weather will warm up before we freeze.
