This block is in vanilla minecraft. Do this command to obtain it.

This block is black and purple. It is called a "locked chest" It emits light. If you place a ton of them next to each other, like you build a platform with them, they will slowly despawn. These blocks are very cool, but mysterious. They are vanilla. You can do the command yourself. For some reason, Mojang never said anything about them. Could this be a future update? OR just a failed attempt for this update? You are unable to open it. This is very mysterious.

Okay, I tried this in 1.5.2. This is still in there. It has a different texture though.
Hopefully you guys can see the image. : The texture has changed, which means Mojang is working on it. So in the future, we may get a locked chest!
