Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370: Plane Wreckage Could Have Been 'Missed' By Company's Sonars

Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has been missing for well over a year, and new information suggests that the plane's wreckage may have been missed by search and rescue crews -- specifically one company that was hired to search the area using specialized sonar equipment.


According to the Huffington Post, there has been a great deal of criticism surrounding the Dutch underwater survey company hired by Australia. Some say that the company didn't do a thorough job while combing through areas of the southern Indian Ocean.


"There are also calls for the government to release the growing mountain of sonar data collected so far, which skeptics say could show whether searchers have overlooked holes in the dragnet big enough to conceal a fragmented Boeing 777," reports theHuffington Post. These concerns have grown each day that passes without any trace of the aircraft or its 239 passengers



Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 is believed to have crashed in the Indian Ocean after making a sudden turn on its route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. According to Mail Online, recently released sonar images show "shadowy areas" that were not explored. Experts say that these areas could be consistent with how the wreckage of the plane might look, submerged in the ocean.


Now, there is pressure on the government to release additional sonar images so that others can have a look, and maybe someone somewhere will be able to find this plane.


While many people still believe various conspiracy theories about the whereabouts of flight 370, experts do believe that the aircraft is at the bottom of the ocean. The area is vast, and there is a very large search area because no one really knows exactly where the plane went down. Plus, it likely drifted over the past 16 months.


I think Malaysia airlines should be over.
