Hello Minecrafters!
Today I want to talk about a new series that I am doing on Youtube. I've called it Map Making Series because I am making an adventure map. The map is going to be a massive RPG style adventure map. It is going to be like Runescape and World of Warcraft and other games like that where you do quests, fight monsters, upgrade your gear, etc. I chose to do this as a series instead of just releasing the map like regular people do because I'm sure a lot of people would be interested in seeing all the tricks and tips to making a map. I am using Single Player Command and MCEdit with filters made by Sethbling to get the jobs done. I will be showing how I use SPC to alter the terrain and how useful the tools can be. Also using MCEdit I will be showing how to make things like custom spawners, custom NPC trades, and things like that that most people don't know about and probably wonder how to do. And don't worry about boring building bits because I remove most of those, so only the interesting useful stuff. The style of the map is in my own medieval style. Basically it's like a tutorial LP and I think that the series is interesting and the map will turn out awesome. Of course I am accepting suggestions so if you have any then post them as a comment on any of the videos. Right now I have two episodes out and I would be grateful if you could at least check out both of the and then judge the series.
