Meet Knox

A flash of blinding light. A clap like a million bolts of thunder. Silence. Then a scream.



Two years ago, Knox worked in a circus, touring the world and having fun. Then it all ended abruptly when the explosion happened. He was the only survivor. Ever since, he was scared of the light. For months, he survived but did not live in damp, lonely caves, sucking moisture from the cave walls and killing small fish to eat. He was a creature of the dark. One day, a demolition team had came to destroy the rock that gave him shelter from his problems, and that's when it happened. First, a beam of white and dust split the cold, cool darkness. But a purple bubble grew from Knox's hands, folded in on itself, and devoured the light. For years, scientists would puzzle at deranged phenomena described by the workers. But Knox knew exactly what happened, and he knew that there was a place for people like him. So he travelled in a sphere of magical darkness for many days, until at long last, he reached the base of CONIDAE, and found a sort of new family there.
