I read from Upcoming Features on Minecraft Wiki about 1.7.1!
So here's a list from what I read! :D
List:
1. Contains biome changes and new biomes, and might contain changes to oceans.
2. Improved biome transition/generation.
3. Clay Canyon Biome, jokingly referred to as "Disco Mountains":
Clay Canyon Biome Info:
1. Composed of multiple colored hardened clay.
2. Dead Bushes spawn in this biome.
4. Redwood Forest Biome:
Redwood Forest Biome Info:
1. Contains 2x2 Spruce Trees
2. Contains dirt blocks that do not allow grass to grow.
3. Moss Stone "boulders" are scattered around this biome.
4. Dead Bushes, Mushrooms, and Ferns spawn in this biome.
5. Will have a grass block variant known as Podzol:
Podzol Info:
1. Currently obtained only by the silk touch enchantment
5. A possible cliff technical biome.
6. Spruce Trees will generate in Extreme Hills Biomes:
7. Snow may now generate depending on Y level, with noise variation.
8. Possibly Cherry Trees added by Patrick Geuder.
Cherry Trees Info:
1. They vary "seasonally" by having leaf blocks change color every fourth day for three minutes.
2. Contain pink saplings.
9. Redoing the achievements and statistics system.
10. New scoreboard functions.
11. Rewrite of one or more option screens.
12. Rewrote Key Configs.
13. Function and sprint keys can now be changed.
14. Changes to fishing mechanics.
15. A community oriented feature.
