I was earlier, looking at a thread by z3rx20. He has stated a claim clearly explaining the Minecraft development.
Jens Bergensten, also known as jeb_, is now the lead developer of Minecraft. as z3rx20 said, Jens does not have as much creativity as Notch.
Jens has added many unique features to Minecraft. For example: Horses! But this is not very creative.
Notch has developed many features of Minecraft. For example: Pigs that can be controlled. This is very creative. Markus, has a lot of creativity. This feature shows it. Riding pigs is not the normal everyday things, but it totally possible and creative.
Creativity is basically the whole plot of 'Minecraft'.
This is just a short artical showing my opinions. This is totally debatable. Please do not argue with me. As this is just my opinion.
