o Okay!o Jeremy said with excitement, o you really want to team up! I knew youo d come to you senses!o
o No, no, no!o started Steve, o I agreed to talk about it. You know, without yelling and what not.o
Jeremy looked down at his toes and sighed. He looked up slowly at Steve's face. Steve could see the desperation in his eyes and how much he wanted this. Even if he had known him for only a few moments, his eyes revealed everything the Steve as though he were an open book.
o Say your piece.o he added.
o Good. Listen close now, you are special. Like I was saying before, not many people survive that mine that you go in. It's dead. No one has been in there for years now. Or at least anyone who had come out. You're strong, but you are not armed correctly. If you were to be you might see your strength too. We need you back at our village.o Jeremy explained.
o Wait what? Village? When did this come into play?o said Steve.
o Oh. Did I leave that out?o answered Jeremy awkwardly, o Let me explain more about the village stuff.o
o Here we go.o Steve cut in.
o You ready?o Jeremy said looking up.o
o Oh. Sorry, go ahead.o Steve said awkwardly.
o Take a seat, this might go on for a while.o Jeremy mentioned as Steve pulled a chair close and sat down. Jeremy did the same.
o So, the village that I was talking about is called Valztran. I grew up with my brother, Sam, with my mother and father. I think I should tell you, my father was the elected leader of the village and a very respected man. As his son, I was expected to follow orders because my father's political career behind me. As a, you could say, reward, I got whatever I wanted. I was spoiled with gold and diamond. My friends were all jealous and it felt good, ya' no? My father, though, was power crazed. Always hungry for more money. The other people in the village knew this and begged him for some money but he never gave them any and would sometimes even let some starve. That's when it hit me. I had to get out of there while I could. I took my supplies and left, leaving behind everything. My father, furious at me, sent search parties all over to look for me. If I fought, they would fight. And knowing me, I never go peacefully. And ever since I have been out here in the wild surviving. And that's where I end the story and ask for your help.o
o Gee, uh, you didn't quit tell me what you needed help with.o remarked Steve with a smirk on his face.
o Ugh. You didn't really listen did you?o said Jeremy.
o So pretty much you want me to protect you while we go to your village then you want me to kill your father and give you the position that your father had so you can take over the village?o responded Steve with a smile.
o You're and idiot.o said Jeremy as he leaned against the wall of the kitchen. o What I need you to do is help me survive.o
o Um.o
o Think about it okay. Sleep on it and tell me in the morning.o said Jeremy.
o WHAT!o
o Sleep on it means to think about it over nighto

o Oh, yeah, can I sleep here tonight?o
