In minecraft there are this things called metadatas. Like wool, white wool is wool:0 and black is wool:15, metadatas go up to 15. Now in certain texturepacks like conquest, halycon days and LD modern you get extra blocks. In the video above i showed a example of some the things possible with metadatas.

Now here is a another example, yet this time with conquest, With cobwebs you can turn them into weapons, food, rope, chains and much more! If you would like to try metadatas you would need plugins or worldedit, so you can mostly only get metadatas with multiplayers. Ill provide a list below for the resourcepacks you can use and also the plugins you need to use/get metas

Resourcepacks : Conquest, halycon days, and LD modern (this is all that i know).

Plugins : Metacycler, and quick meta. If it was up to me id prefer quick meta, it is alot simpler to use.
