Have something to say?
Much like how the phantom numbers increase over time with sleepless nights other mobs should increase too (even allow their cap to increase each night), making that lost time mining more risky for a night time run or dangerous as the spawning fills up the caves during the day. To prevent abusing it for grinders, mobs can spawn in at higher light levels progressively (able to spawn in at max after 12 days no rest) and as the days ticked off Endermen would target lite blocks plunging places into darkness which then would suddenly get spawn swarmed. I know there are a lot of good mods that rack up difficulty in similar ways, but the Enderman mechanic that would take some excessive measure to overcome when using a bed is an easy fix. And harder to avoid than ducking inside or down a shaft to just go do something else till dawn.
More Hoe Enchantments
*Have potion buff name enchantment for the hoe that can be applied to farmland and ergo crops that grow on them. Nothing crazy 10-15sec buffs but would then make some strategy of crops, more interesting utility of the hoe. And could even add an enchantment that gave a no-cool down buff for combat or animal breeding applied to crops.
*Weapon wise an enchantment or means to give a hoe some combat fun, "Reaper Enchantment" I think I've seen something like it floating for older than 1.14, Basically gives a hoe Smite, Bane of Arthropods, and Chopping (normally exclusive) and bumps its attach to a 5.
*An Enchantment where using a hoe give a looting/fortune bonus on crop collection.
For ease all enchantments should be thru the enchanting table, and be random options with a book or hoe in the slot
Use the cauldron for Mundane and Thick potions, which could be adding the ingredients under a lit cauldron, and to balance it out from not being a brewing stand, each potion would have a positive and negative effect. You get Speed/Jump boost for 20sec, but your hunger bar will drop hard and fast for 25sec. Water breathing 20sec, Mining Fatigue 25 sec, Fire protection/slowness that sort of balance. I would make potions available early game, but still not as good as going to the nether and making a brew stand. I've seen other packs, but they keep blaze powder as an ingredient which if you are collecting blaze powder you might was well do a brew stand. The way potions usually feel in most games are a lot more early content than getting to enchant/magical gear. Granted the XP system in minecraft it takes a long time in vanilla to acquire XP unless you grind a lot or making a farm.
Obsidian with more of Fire Obsidian texture, changing it up so it has a bit of random loot drop with a chance of 1-3 Iron (4%) or Gold blocks (2%), 6-12 Redstone dust (1%) or Lapis lazuli (0.5%), and small chance of diamond (0.3%) or emerald (0.1%) and if you get really crazy some form of small diamond and emerald fragments that act much like nuggets for metal ores (doubling their loot odds to balance).
A Scarecrow that acts like a dummy lure for all but zombies, can't attack the mobs, and has some health (half of an iron golem) Recipe is 4 logs in a T and a carved pumpkin.
Feel free to pick anything that grabbed your imagination.
