Minecraft, we "ALL" love it, am I right?

What about those pesky little new people who come along, who don't know anything?
I remember being a newb myself, it was a fun time being derpy. Building little dirt huts all over the place, digging straight down, falling in lava (Wait..I still do that...). I was extremely derpy as a newb it took me forever to actually become an experienced player. What I mainly remember, is a lot of the jerks who'd tease me on some of the servers I went on. After a while I found a good server with great staff and such to help me, and I made a lot of friends on there.
I try to help out other newbs, but because of their derpiness (THEY WERE HIRED BAI TEH SQUIDS) it's really hard sometimes to help them. So I felt like giving out some tips today. Those who are dealing with the newbies, just relax and calm down, they'll get it eventually.

Do you guys have any tips you think would be good for new players?
Tips
{-1-} Don't dig straight down
{-2-} The best place to look for diamonds is at Y 15-11 (In my opinion)
{-3-} Don't antagonize a fight unless you have the armor to pvp (You really shouldn't anyways)
{-4-} If you're on a multiplayer server and you decide to go to the nether be extremely wary of the zombie pigmen
{-5-} Don't trust the squids (Known to be secretly very annoying)
{-6-} Don't ask server's for OP unless you really just want to be banned
{-7-} No hugging creepers (I know they look cuddly, but resist it)
{-8-} Get a partner to play minecraft with, it's more fun with two people :)

In multiplayer, use T to chat. You can change it to ENTER or any other key in the settings.
You can also hold the Left Shift key to sneak, You become slower, but you won't fall off any edges.
Press the F3 key to open up Debug Mode. there's a bunch of stuff there, but the main thing you want to look for is: "Y: ### (Feet Pos. $$$ Eye Pos.)". The number right after the Y is your depth.
