Hi Guys This is Cid-Highwind-249 and today i'm bringing you my FIRST review of the NEWEST and only just a few hours ago, uploaded snapshot titled; 12W42A!
This update the the 1.4 archive adds new changes to the textures of anvils, the anvils now also can repeair tools by offering diamonds and ingots!
There're changes to redstone repeaters so they now can be LOCKED to avoid accidentally right clicking on them too many times.
There have been changes in the language files and other bug fixes.
Spawners can now spawn items and blocks.
there are 3 new potions, slowness, speed and high jumping.
BUGS for the Snapshot 12W42A!
The command block has a glitch (i hope) where it no longer shows up in creative mode. I severely hope this is a bug and not permanent as i love the command block and it's going to be very useful for map makers.
That's pretty much it for this snapshot! :D
PREVIOUS SNAPSHOT ADDITIONS!
New mobs: Bats, witches, wither skelletons, baby zombies, zombie villagers.
New boss(es): The wither.
New structures: witch hut.
Mob changes: slimes only spawning in swamp biomes.
New foods: pumpkin pie, golden carrot, poisonous potatoe, potatoe, baked potatoe.
New blocks: command block, beacon block, Anvil, item frame, pot plant, cobblestone and mossy cobblestone walls
New armour: coloured armour made by placing a dye in a crafting becnh with leather armour. New Mob Masks! :D
New items: wither star carrot on a stick
New mob capabilities: controlled rideable pigs
New potions slowness. blindness. invisibility, speed, jump.
All in all this update is the most fun i've had since 1.7.3! It's gonna get a LOT of criticism for being quite Role play like but i think it's AMAZING! it blew my mind with the way they did everything! :D
If i have missed anything i apologise. and even though it's different to what we're used to it's just amazed me. please give it a chance before judging guys! it's amazing! :D 9.7/10
