Hi guys!!:D Mew here. And I want to write my tutorial about Redstone.
What is redstone?
Redstone is a form of electricity that lets you power: Stick and Normal Pistons, Redstone Lamps, and lets you build Redstone Creations(Redstone Repeaters, Torches, and Lamps).

What are Sticky and Normal Pistons?
Sticky and Normal Pistons are a form of doors, a way of hiding items, and a way to push blocks.
Sticky pistons will push and pull back blocks. Sticky pistons can push other Sticky and Normal Pistons. Sticky Pistons won't pull or push Obsidian, Bedrock, Chests, and items that are not full blocks(Redstone, Torches, and rails). Stick Pistons are powered by: Levers, Buttons, Pressure Plates, Redstone, Redstone Torches, and Redstone Repeater.
Sticky Piston:
Normal Piston:
Normal Pistons will only push blocks. You use a Slimeball with a Normal Piston to make a Sticky Piston. Normal Pistons are powered by the same items that Sticky Pistons are powered by.
Redstone Torches & Repeaters:
Redstone Torches are a power source(Will never turn off unless another Redstone Torch is any blocks on the left or right of it. To make a Redstone Torch is just like making a regular Torch, but instead or coal or charcoal you use 1 redstone.
Redstone Torch:
Redstone Repeater:
Redstone Repeaters extend the length of redstone. Redstone only goes to 16 blocks (Once hit the 17th block, Redstone will not be turned on). Redstone Repeaters will also Power 2 Pistons.
To make a Redstone Repeater You must have 2 Redstone Torches,1 redstone, and 3 stone. This is how to a Redstone Repeater below.
OOO O= Air
IVI I= Redstone Torch
SSS V= Redstone
S= Stone
Redstone Lamps:
Redstone Lamps are another way for light, but they must be powered by Redstone. To make a redstone Lamp you need 4 Redstone, 1 Glowstone. This is how to make a Redstone lamp below.
ORO O= Nothing
RGR R= Redstone
ORO G= Glowstone
