I think if I could add something to minecraft, it would be a typhoon. I know what an actual typhoon is, but this isn't a natural thing. This is much worse.
CHARACTERISTICS OF A TYPHOON
A typhoon would be a water monster, containing a 2 x 1 length and a 1 block height. A typhoon would make water travel much more dangerous. The typhoon is visible only in day and spawns in 1's. He would have 12 tentacles and a sharp beak for attacking. He would be like a wither because you would build him with an ink block (which is made from 9 ink sacks) as his head, and two lower blocks of lapis blocks. This would make him look like a snow golem while building and he can only be built in water. He would have a huge amount of damage resistance to diamond, brother of lapis. This make iron the choice of melee weapon. If there is a full moon, he will regenerate his health back.
TYPHOON ATTACKS
Once built, a typhoon will shoot a beam of darkness which gives you the wither effect. He will dive into the deepest part of water and cause a swirl of water, creating a water spout. If going into the spout, you will get a drowsiness/nausea effect. Once done with the spout, he becomes tired, making him vulnerable. if he is hit with fire, it does extra damage (like fire aspect or flame.) He repeats the process, except once he is almost dead, he would get fire resistance. Once the typhoon is killed, he would go out of the water and attach himself to the player. The typhoon then turns into 5 lightning creepers. He will then disintegrate into 3 diamond blocks in a chest contained in a glass box.
TYPHOON/WATER SPOUT SPAWNING
There is a 1 in 1,000 chance that a typhoon will spawn in an ocean biome. If a typhoon does spawn(this includes creating him) it shall start to thunder, lightning, and rain. A beacon beam will be shot out of the ocean if he spawns naturally. While a typhoon is naturally blue, a natural spawned typhoon will be a dark red and won't have the invisibility at night. Instead, this typhoon will have 50% resistance to fire damage. Once a natural typhoon is killed, he will give you 5 nether stars instead of 3 diamond blocks. But the nether stars will be held by 5 skeletons with full iron armor. The water spout would spawn naturally too. This water spout would come out of the water instead of in the water like the typhoon's attack. This will suck in nearby mobs and boats/mine-carts. It will then shoot out the boat into a random direction 30 blocks away and will destroy the boat, leaving the drops.
NOTE: There is a small chance of him dropping a typhoon skull. This skull can be harvested by an iron pick ONLY and put into a crafting bench to get a beacon.
I think this would be a great edition to Minecraft, so I hope this is accepted to a mod maker.

*EDIT* I honestly dont like the wall of squids and the 5 lightning creepers aspect.
Honestly i think if you kill a typhoon Ka-put - dead typhoon not OMG SOOOOO MANY SQUIDS
plus if it dropped a chest and u fight the typhoon in the ocean you would need it to generate a small bit of land so your not swimming to the bottom of the ocean to get it. IF this was included i think mojang should make the ocean a bit deeper (it's maybe at most 30 blocks deep).
