my idea is better redstone.
the description of my idea is as follows:
iron/gold blocks will now be able to carry redstone currents (also water)
i think that this could improve the game because it will make redstone more realistic and just make it more fun.
there would also be an item that can remove/give redstone properties to any block. this item will be called the static wand. it will be crafted by putting redstone in all four corners of a crafting table and one redstone lamp in the center. in the bottom center a stick will be placed and a torch in the top center. the remaining spaces will be left empty. if you attack a mob with the static wand the mob will die and the static wand will turn into a stick. if you right click on a block with the static wand the block that you clicked on will now be able to carry redstone (static wand will turn into stick upon right-clicking) if you right click on redstone or any block that has the ability to carry redstone with the stick, the the stick will turn into a static wand. this mod will also add in light bulbs. lightbulds will be craft with one redstone lamp in the center and glass everywhere else (all edge slots) a light bulb will have the same properties as a redstone lamp, but will look like a small glass block that has a torch inside of it. light bulbs can be placed anywhere so long as it is not floating. there will also be light switches. light switches will appear as small white rectangular prisms that can only be placed on walls. light switches will be crafted by putting white wool under a lever in a crafting table.and the last thing that this mod will add are power lines. power linds are just going to be black streams of redstone that can float so long as the beginning of the stream is connected to a block. so it will not be able to float without one end or the other touching something. power lines will be crafted by putting black wool under neath of redstone in a crafting table. powerlines will also not need any repeaters.
