MineZ, the only good and popular minecraft zombie survival server for vanilla. Minez started a long time ago and i spent many hours traveling, dieing, killing, dieing, looting and dieing. The server had flaws, but they weren't has huge compared to other servers. After a while i quit. But recently i found
out that MineZ 2 came out.
So i started to play it. With the new MineZ 2 many new features were added.
One was the new map, this map has many more memorible places within it.
The way it is built makes it to where you are never traveling to much
before finding some place to loot and survive at. They added more
but not just by expanding it but also condensing areas to have
more to do more often.
The next feature i will talk about is the PvP and PvE
In this version PvE only is a private option. But PvP
Works differently now. When in southern areas you are protected
from pvp. But as you head north you cross a line of pvp. From there on
out you can be attacked or killed by bandits.
Raw materials + Upgrading is another new feature that has been
added to the minez update. This allows you to mine stone or logs
and many other raw recource to collect items to use for
burning in furnaces or for upgrading/creating. Upgrading
is by far one of the coolest features added. This allows you
to break down extra items into raw materials and then surround
the object so that you can increase its effectivness. Armor
starts off at 70% and you can upgrade to 130% with
enough materials.
Achievments/stats are my close second favorite feature.
In the update you get proficiencies these will carry
from one life to another as you use certain items and do certain things.
As you do more you get stronger, wether it's headshoting zombies
or healing players around the map. While doing those you will
also get achievments for doing certain things, this includes
getting to certain areas, or killing certain enemy's a certain
amount. Or even just doing somthing a bit more simple.
Quests are another cool feature that you can use in the new version of minez
This allows you to go to a city and gather quests from a npc.
These quests will change daily and allow you to purchase certain items.
These items include storage that you can upgrade and use
for putting certain items into.
Player housing is another feature recently added but sadly i have
not been able to experience it and do not know how it works
currently.
Lastly there are the new zombies. In the new minez there are many new
types of zombies, leather zombies appear which have a wep. and full
leather armor. Or chainmail zombies which also have a wep.
and full chainmail armor. Reverent(or somthing like that) will spawn
and when you kill them they will respawn with back up(4-6 withers)
Or you could face the full iron suites of armor that are
immune to certain types of armour. There are
also zombie pigman and there is a rumor of the giants, but
i have yet to see one.
