Rating out of 10: 9/10

Brief Summary: Creates a new world, known as the Aether and can be accessed by a portal made of glowstone that has been hit with water on the inside. It is similar to the Nether, but instead of being all lava-flowing, it's void with random floating islands. The mod introduces many new mobs and blocks, including a whole ore system which can be found here. It is the spotlight mod at the moment, and has been taken very serious by the developers. (Kingbdogz, Shockah, Kodaichi, Flan and 303)

Qualities: It has been a very well thought up mod and will continue taking the spotlight for a long time to come. The ideas of mobs especially impressed me, mostly the Aerwhales. Also, making cloud as a block has been a extraordinary idea that would have taken me years to think up of. The new accessory system is just as impressive. Rings, pendants, gloves and capes - yet again, amazing.

The Short List of Not so Good things: I can't say much things along this line due to the mod being as marvelous as it is but the Aether is quite buggy, therefore a minor amount of the features will not function as they are planned to.

Overall: Almost perfect mod, I would suggest it to all faithful Minecraft players. If you are ever bored of Minecraft, just simply install the Aether mod!
