Hello, and welcome everyone, to Minecraft Rant. In this bit of blogging, I shall discuss and rant about the several unfair glitches or modifications inside the Minecraft Universe. This weeks subject of matter is Modified Clients.

Lets get started, shall we.

It has come to my attention that over the four and a half years that Minecraft has been released, that players have always found one way or another to cheat their way up, whether it be higher on the leaderboards, or just to dominate other players. From Piston duplication, to dropper glitching, though we are not talking about either one of those today, we are talking about, Yes. You got it, Modified Minecraft clients.

Modified Minecraft clients tend to lend players an unfair advantage against one another. Whether it be, Auto aiming, Flymod, Sonic Sprint, Super break, or X-ray. Modified clients are banned on MANY servers, but not all. And even if a server says they have anti cheat protection, always be cautious. For those who play on PvP and Faction servers, you should know that your faction can be raided by other players. When players want everything to themselves, this is called greed. When players are greedy, they want more and more.

So, some players love to raid and to slay other players, but maybe they do not flourish in player vs player combat, or maybe they do not want to waste their time on finding chests, so they cheat and use modified clients. Everyone, you should NEVER under any circumstance use a modified client, its cheating and repetetive. If You need to use a 3rd party program to make you play better so other players can not "live up" to you, then you are a coward.

Recently, I joined a drug server, and a faction server. I made a fairly large base and all, I even hid every single one of my chests. I came back on both servers an hour later to see that the entire base had been destroyed, and every hidden chest looted. I know the player(s) had used X-ray, because one of the chests were so deep underground (and the pathway was actually blocked) to where you would need to manouver lava to get to it. And either way, the players found it all, and looted.

Six hours of gameplay, down the drain. Not only is it repetetive that you have to start all over again, its also very agitating that you know that the player is going to get away with it. You have no proof, no nothing. All you have is a broken base.

To finish off the rant, I shall say this. Do NOT use Modified Clients everyone, It may seem "fun" to play around with these and dominate other players, but you will easily and most likely immediatly be frowned upon in the community if they find out you are using a third party tool to modify how you play the game.
