Now, minecraft is such a great game with all of the items it has now. But I'm sure there are a few that you can come up with, that you think should really be in minecraft. Here are some that I think could really be awesome:
10. Hammers
Now you may be thinking "hammers? what are these going to do?". Well, these bad boys can be used as a weapon, and a new building tool. They can do as much damage as an iron sword, and are needed to build new items. They can also be used to repair broken wood.
9. Broken Wood
We have cracked stonebrick, why not wood? It would be an epic block for those people who love building apocalyptic stuff, and it would even be transparent in a few places. This can be repaired with hammers and can only be found in new areas found like the "ruins". It can also be crafted.
8. Rope
This could now be used to craft the grappling hook, and used for the hang glider. It can be stretched across decent distances between blocks for players to use a hang glider on. (It can only stretch so far). And it can be replaced by some older recipes that used to use string in cases where it would normally be something thicker, like a rope.
7. Hang Glider
This can allow players to travel easily between different areas, and could go to making some really clever inventions/maps. Using rope to stretch between different blocks, you could swing through windows of different buildings and travel up high. Beware though, if you let go of the right mouse button, you will fall to your death!
6. Grappling Hook
With this thing, you can now get to those places you never could. This would defiantly be a rare items, extremely hard to get. But it will be very useful, and change the physics in minecraft drastically. You now can be the amazing spiderman and fly through the city with this thing!
5. Goggles
Get rid of night vision. These epic goggles will not only be stylish, but also allow you to see in the dark, have semi-xray vision, and zoom in and out as if you had optifine on. This would defiantly be a good item.
4. Turret
This will be an extremely cool weapon. Again, I can see a lot of good ideas with this thing. It can be crafted as an Iron Turret, Gold Turret, or Diamond Turret. Although, you will need a lot of other hard to get items to craft it, so it isn't exactly the easist obtainable item. But it can be designed using redstone to aim at certain things, turn in only certain areas, and have a certain detection range. It will shoot deadly bolts at anything in its path.
3. Camera
This will defiantly be really need. You can go back to it at any time and right click it to see footage you have recorded. See who has been snooping around outside your house. It can also come in handy for those youtubers who love making little skits, because you can save the recording/pictures from the camera to your computer.
2. Spear
I think these could honestly add a lot to the whole pvp aspect of minecraft. Now, with a spear, you could jab at enemies dealing some serious damage. But when in trouble, you can also throw it and the spear will fly out of your hand like a projected arrow. It will disapear from your inventory and you can pick it up as you walk up to it.
1. Emerald Armor/Tools
Emerald! It is so rare, and so valuable yet it honestly almost has no purpose. Yeah so what, you can trade with villagers and get crappy deals. Yeah, you can turn them into blocks and power your beacon. But these things really need to have a use in other things. Tools and weapons would totally change minecraft. This new armor would be as powerful as prot 3 diamond armor, and have extremely good durablity. The weapons would be very extremely dangerous, and deal deadly amounts of damage. the tools, incredible durablitiy and almost break a block with simply 1 click, not even holding the mouse button in.
