Mr. Maru
Chapter 1
There must of being hundreds of pounds worth of equipment in the musky basement. Chemical substances encased in glass tubes and beakers, scattered around the 'out of bounds' room. David snooped around for evidence when, suddenly, a menacing voice with a tall shadow croaked,
"Ahem?" David gingerly turned around hoping for a puny security guard he could knock out in a matter of seconds,
only to find a tall, well built man in about his mid-thirties.
"Oh sorry, I must be lost..." Muttered David.
"Your mother should of taught you not to lie Burbank."
"She also told me not to speak to strangers." David came back quickly. "How do you know my name?" He asked curiously.
"I am your 'boss', am I not entitled to know the names of my employees? The only reason you got the job in the first place was because I know who you are. I hired you to get information."
Gather information?" David repeated
"yes, you didn't think I would let you jail or kill all my men did you?"
"I did hope to, what you're doing in this factory is sick!" Shouted David
With that remark Mr Maru started chuckling and snorting, he signalled his hand and two electric doors slid open.
David stared in disgust as two 'creatures' came through the doors. Mouths wide open, drooling, showing their large fangs off. A long ragged tail mounted to there almost spiky back. But the worst thing about them was the mutated body and face they had. Eyes where the mouth should be and mouth where the forehead usually would be placed.
"Issss theere a prooblemm here sssiiirr..." it hissed.
"WHAT the HELL are they?" screamed David adrenaline pumping!
"These..." Began Mr Maru, " are MY finest creations." Shouting out with honor.
David's legs took off before he could come up with a plan. But his body all ready had one: Run!
He ran to the door but, before he could escape the horror...
They pounced!

Mr. Maru overall has an interesting start as it gets straight I to the action while creating a mystery of why the main character is there and what's going on. From what I gathered it sounded like a somewhat genetic engineering factory/laboratories.
I am interested to see what happens next so please write more.
